    I did the swapping of coils replaced #4 and the other 3 Coils as well as the spark plugs, replaced the O2 upstream sensor also it runs good now ... Check Engine light turned on again and now it has a multiple misfire , the O2 bank 1 sensor 1, and the misfire on coil 4. Yet it's running normal no hiccups?

    Hello thanks for your video a quick question would it be fine if I use cvt transmission fluid like valvoline for the flushes and then Nissan TF for final fill just curious if it would be an issue

  • @patrickgutierrez214
    @patrickgutierrez214 2 дні тому

    My transmission pan got hit while driving down the road car only has 70000 miles would I need to flush 2 times or can I just go ahead and replace gasket and pan and add fluid thru overflow as you did thanks for your time

    • @patrickgutierrez214
      @patrickgutierrez214 2 дні тому

      Also does the fluid need to be Nissan or will valvoline be ok

    • @TheOriginalBeeCee
      @TheOriginalBeeCee День тому

      You could definitely just fill it, but nonetheless the FSM doesn’t recommend the flushing process for no reason. I touched base on this and the fluid in the last 5 minutes of the video. “What fluid” is a very opinionated subject, I would suggest doing some research yourself and utilizing what you feel comfortable with.

    if anyone else is uncomfortable about the "feel it" torque spec: the upper, 8mm bolt (12mm head): 16ft lbs (22Nm) lower, 10mm bolt (14mm head): 33 ft lbs (45Nm) everything else he did was solid.

    Good! But if transmission is low on fluid will make that noise(rare). Best to take it to the dealer because sound like is air on the transmission

    The problem in many cars like Honda people think they are Philipps screws, they are not they are Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screws and you need to use a JIS screwdriver which is easy to get.

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do I need to drain the oil first?

  • @opinionsvary
    @opinionsvary 4 дні тому

    In my opinion: I would just soak the screw in Marvel Mystery Oil the night before & go for a drive to heat things up before using an impact gun. Heat always is a bad idea because it compromises grease, warps rubber seals & metal parts. It softens parts & annuals them shorting service life. Northern Yankees do dumb stuff like that just like how they pop off exhaust manifold bolts because someone used a torch on a previous repair. If it doesn't work, probably best to drill the head with the smallest bit passing through the inside of the screw & drill off the head. You can remove the rest with an easy out. Striking a bearing hub is always bad because it always spaulds the bearings. It's another reason not to let anyone else work on your breaks because they'd go for the impact driver first because it's the fastest thing.

    my car battery went dead while bleeding my brakes. After i finished the brake flush, i jumped the engine but then immediately the check engine light turned on. I went to autozone and code ABS malfunction and traction off showed up on dash. not knowing what to do, i removed the battery, check engine light turned off for now but for how long?

    • @TheOriginalBeeCee
      @TheOriginalBeeCee 4 дні тому

      Modern vehicles don’t like loosing power. Most will throw every dash light when power is low/battery is bad. Just a random example…Honda’s for example whole dash lights up with low voltage/bad battery. I’m sure it just didnt like not having correct voltage. You should be fine. If there was a real issue the light(s) would have been back on immediately.

    That filter inside of the pan on the valve body is to filter out course metallic filings. If it looks pretty good and clean, it is unnecessary to change it. The paper cartridge is the most important to change for fine contaminates.

  • @ScottFinley-xe1kk
    @ScottFinley-xe1kk 10 днів тому

    This is not a complete fluid change. 1/2 of the fluid is in the torque converter and valve body. To do a complete change, while the trans is hot and vehicle is running, you need to break into the trans cooling output and input lines. Using a pump, you put in as much as it comes out until it is clear new fluid. Do all of this then replace the filter behind the trans cooler. Then check with car level using the overflow drain plug removed. After fluid is drained, replace the overflow drain plug. You now have the proper level and have done a proper trans fluid change out.

    Diag/signs of bad alternator: Battery light comes on. Check volts on the battery and on the alternator with a voltmeter. Good battery should be 12.5 V car off and cold, 13.7-14.7 V while running, alternator should match battery V. If V are good from alternator but not the battery it is probably a bad battery. Car won’t start. Check volts on battery and on alternator with a voltmeter Check serpentine belt to make sure it is connected Check computer for codes Procedure to replace alternator -Remove battery connections (negative first, then positive, make sure the connections are clear) -Remove coolant reservoir to make space -move power steering fluid reservoir but do not remove -loosen the tensioner pulley to pull the serpentine/drive belt off the alternator - remove wiring harness (push tab in and pull to unplug) -remove 2-3 bolts (depends on year) that are keeping alternator in position (you can use a magnet to catch bolts, or hand loosen -Now the alternator will move, remove bolt from from the positive cable wire -Install new alternator in reverse order and replace items that you removed. Ensure serpentine belt is on correctly -Test new alternator and battery voltages

    Hi I have tight power steering and dealer is suggesting to replace rack and pinion besides the control arms tie rods for 5k. Which by itself is crazy expensive but you think I shouldn’t just try trepkacing the control arms and see if it fixes things?

    • @TheOriginalBeeCee
      @TheOriginalBeeCee 12 днів тому

      That’s kind of hard to say without seeing it and experiencing the issue. But yea, $5K is ridiculous. I would suggest putting the front end in the air on jackstands and go over it. Look for bushing wear on the control arms similar to what i showed in the video. If they are all cracked up, then definitely replace them. Could be your problem alone. But i would also look at the outer tie rod ends, see if they have bushing cracks. Depending on your mileage probably couldn’t hurt to replace the outer & inner tie rods. But you just need to evaluate everything and confirm the condition of these parts. Check out my outer tie rod end video, i have some insight on suspension diagnosis in the first 5 minutes of that video.

    I've twisted off two torx tools, one adapted to a hand impact tool, after heated. Next step, Drill baby, drill! I've heard rotors can shatter if hit with a hammer, so glad to see you used a soft face hammer. Thanks for tip on they are not necessary to reinstall. That was my suspicion.

    Thank you for the video, I will be watching it as I give this a try, it will be my first time every doing a transmission fluid change. I have 2014 NIssan Altima with a little over 135K - it's going to be the 1st transmission fluid change. Again, thank you for such an excellent video!!

    Thanks for this tutorial, I have a Kia Cerato Forte 2010 model, that carries a rear drum brake assembly. I want to change that system out and install a rotor disc brake assembly. What do I have to get to do the conversion. The reason I ask and want to do the conversion, where I'm from the drum is obsolete.

      I’m not overly familiar with Kia’s options/setups, but you would need to pull the parts from the same model car if they came equipped with that option. You would need the knuckles/hubs, calipers/brackets, pads & rotors, e-brake setup/cable & hardware.
